ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Our cosplay model Kiefer (they are the same guy in two outfits), is scanned using a technique called Photogrammetry.

Our Photogrammetry rig uses 120 cameras, all fired at exactly the same time, the images are then used to create a very accurate 3D model, which we have added in a digital skeleton which allows us to move him around like a real human would, added moving eyes, hair that moves, clothes that wave around in wind and movement.

Any lighting added to the scene in post production makes/changes real shadows on the model, it can then be placed into any environment where it will look like it should be there. It can be output in production photo quality or decimated down to be used in AR, VR or Game Engines.
