For the Dr Strange premiere we created the full stand, and embedding a 48 camera rig into the structure, and transporting it to 4 venues across the UK.

About this project

Feref, the agency that created the iconic Star Wars posters as well as piles of other movie campaigns approached us asking for a full experiential Bullet Time booth tour for an upcoming Marvel/Disney movie. So we designed and created a full promotional stand.

So we designed in 3D the full promotional stand which contains the Bullet Time Booth, the process in which it will be transported between locations, set up and removed.

We set it up, operated and de rigged at 4 locations across the South East and North of England in the space of 11 days.

The exhibition/promotional stand was completely built bespoke for this job, all transport, technical and operating staff were all NWD’s own staff. The rig was created to be able to pass all health and safety requirements that Disney demanded, was fitted with many electronic safety cut off features and needed only one 240 volts 13 amp socket to operate.

Over the campaign, we created over 2500 movies, each were emailed directly to the visitor within a few moments of the shot taken, for them to share on their own social media.

Equipment used

We created a full experiential exhibition stand that was designed to hold all of the equipment and wiring for the 48 Camera Array.

Post Production

Each shot was created and produced into an exported movie within 30 seconds using our in-house Bullet Time Software and sent to the visitor by email on site.

We setup the stand in 4 locations, 1, Stratford Westfield Shopping Centre, 2, Odeon Leicester Square (Red Carpet Movie Premiere), 3, Odeon Manchester Printworks, 4, Odeon BFI Waterloo London.

What we created

Over the 4 venues, we created 2500 movies, all taken, aligned, branded, and post-produced in less than 1 minute and emailed directly to the visitor.
