Tate Britain – Francis Bacon ‘Screaming Pope’

Inspired by Sir Francis Bacon's screaming popes. Using 15 cameras, a 1hr set up window, and a live projection on site, NWD created dozens of movies to show a digital modern version of the Screaming Popes.

About this project

At the Francis Bacon-themed Late at Tate Britain, Nexus Productions teamed up with New World Designs to create these “bullet time” animations inspired by Bacon’s screaming popes. With 15 cameras, a 1hr set up window, and a live projection on site, we created dozens of movies to show a digital modern version of the Screaming Popes.
